We are a local, family-run operation, and we put the whole tree to use. When a tree comes down for safety reasons, we turn it into heating fuel, lumber, and mulch instead of sending it to the landfill. Buying local kiln-dried wood also keeps invasive pests from hitching a ride, since the kiln heat kills insects and eggs.
